Our top tablet tips and tricks

Whether you’re a functional mushroom pro or new to the ‘shroom scene, we’ve got a few tips to help kickstart your Fungtio wellness routine.

One tip that applies to all our formulas? Stay hydrated. Drinking plenty of water helps your body absorb and use all these great functional mushrooms and supporting ingredients. 

Determine your daily dose

If you're focusing on one Fungtio formula, most people settle on two tablets per day. But your body could thrive on anywhere from one to four tablets per day. If you're new to the functional mushroom game, start with one tablet a day and adjust as you see fit. 

Stacking multiple formulas? Great strategy. All our blends are intentionally designed to complement one another and support you.

There's no bad way to take our tablets... but there are some better ways. Here's what we've found works best for most people. 

Barrier Repair (Snow Fungus)

Building healthy barriers takes time, so it's best to take Barrier Repair whenever you're most likely to remember it! Consistency is key. Feel free to give your barriers a boost with an extra tablet or two if your system needs extra support, like after travel, sunburn, surgery, or injury. 

Since Snow Fungus is a hydration superhero, this is great to take with lemon or coconut water before a snack. 

Calm Support (Reishi)

This Reshi tablet pulls double duty, so it can be taken in two different ways. 

To help you wind down from a busy day or to get ready for bed, take it in the evening. It won't make you feel drowsy, just ready for a restful and restorative sleep.  

You can also take it to help you regain control of nerves or anxiety. Take one during the day to help you stop the spiral and get back to business. 

Calm Support does its best work on an empty stomach or before eating. 

Cognitive Clarity (Lion's Mane)

The Lion's Mane in our Cognitive Clarity formula is great for mental clarity and clearing brain fog, so it's best taken with water in the morning or early afternoon to feel the effects all day long.

Big meeting? Need to lock in and get work done? Take another tablet or two for an extra dose of brain power. 

For an extra brain boost, take Cognitive Clarity before a snack with healthy fats like avocado, full-fat yogurt, or a handful of mixed nuts and seeds. 

Gut Feeling (Turkey Tail)

This Gut Feeling is flexible, so you can take it any time of day, with or without food.

If you're focusing on building overall gut health or resolving gut issues, it's important to take this one consistently. It's about the long game! 

Gut Feeling is a great one to keep on hand to take as needed. Take one or two if your digestion feels off, you're recovering from a stomach bug, or to help you stay regular while traveling.

Inflammation Control (Chaga)

Inflammation Control is an all-around All-Star. Take it daily, anytime, with or without food, to support recovery and ease soreness and inflammation throughout your body. 

Add an extra tablet or two to your regimen to help your body bounce back after stressful periods or physical events. 

Vital Energy (Cordyceps)

To get the Vital Energy you're looking for, take this Cordyceps tablet with water and a snack. A citrus fruit provides a refreshing boost!

For lasting, jitter-free energy, take this first thing in the morning. Want some extra fuel for a workout? Take it 30-60 minutes before you get after it.
